WordPress and Thesis

WordPress Blog pictureWordPress is the platform I use for web-editing software. I have found this to be the best choice for a CMS (content-management-system). This is a very good product for those who want to manage their own website.

Thesis is the wordpress-theme that I am using as a design framework (structure) that allows me and you (the customer),  to create a contextual and visual site with all of the options/plugins right out of the box.

Below are some examples of the Visual Editing View  in wordpress and the Design Options Panel  in thesis.

WordPress and Thesis = CMS and Design Control

I use WordPress as the CMS (content management system) for all of my websites. WordPress is a very popular and widely used open-source platform, and the Thesis theme makes it even more rock-solid by giving you design control separate from the core files in WordPress. The benefit of this is that whenever you have an update in a WordPress version, the Thesis theme files are un-touched, nothing is changed to break your website’s theme structure. The same is true if you ever wanted to upgrade your Thesis theme that it doesn’t change any core files in WordPress. Oh, and by-the-way, WordPress and Thesis upgrades themselves,  are ALWAYS FREE, not another surprise fee down the road!

The biggest advantage I’ve discovered using WordPress is that it is a very User-Friendly platform. I’m all about Do-It-Yourself, and WordPress is a content management system that doesn’t have a big learning curve!

This video is a demonstration of Thesis.
