An Easy Process.

In the process of building your website, I am here from the very beginning to help you choose a domain name, wordpress theme, and a hosting solution.

Choosing the right theme.

Aside from choosing a domain name, you need to decide on the right theme for your website/blog. There are many free WordPress themes available ~ the Free WordPress Themes directory is a good place to start! If you want a Custom-Designed website, I recommend WordPress and Thesis  (a winning combination)!

Lately I’ve been testing themes by Elegant Themes. I see a lot of potential with their custom WordPress themes, especially eStore which is designed for online e-commerce using a simple Paypal payment-gateway solution. A word of warning, these themes are very addictive!

Hosting your website/domain.

Hosting is the where all the uploaded data, (pictures, text, forms, etc.) are stored to access your website. Think of it this way, the domain name is the address of the website where it is hosted (the house) on the server or hosting company.

My recommendations for hosting would be a hosting company (Bluehost) that has what is called the c-Panel. This makes the process so much easier for the webmaster and client (end user) to manage.

Tip: It is less confusing to have your domain and hosting with the same company.
